Getting Here

Visitors to Taytay may fly in either through the Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS), San Vicente Airport (SWL) and the Lio Regional Airport in El Nido.

If your gateway is via PPS, upon arrival simply look for tourist vans that offer trips to El Nido and tell the driver you want to go to Taytay (Php500). If there are no vans at the airport, board a tricycle or taxi and tell the driver to bring you the San Jose Transport Terminal. At San Jose Terminal, you have the option to either board vans (Php 350) or buses (Roro or Cherry at Php 300). All these vans and buses pass through Taytay. Upon arrival at the Taytay Bus and Van terminal, flag down a tricycle and provide the name of the place where you are booked for the night. Tricycle fare in Taytay is at Php15.00 per person on ride sharing basis and Php50-60 for exclusive trip from terminal to the town center (2km ride).

Philippine Airlines just recently inaugurated their daily flights from Clark to San Vicente (SWL). This route usually offers cheaper airfare and a good alternative if you are planning to visit San Vicente, Taytay, and El Nido and you do not have the luxury of time to fly via PPS International Airport. Upon landing at San Vicente Airport, just go to the Tourist Assistance Desk at the Arrival Terminal. They will direct you to take the van that goes straight to El Nido via Taytay (SWL to Taytay Van fare is Php250.00) . Upon arrival at Taytay Transport Terminal, you may then take a tricycle to your accommodation of choice.

For guests flying in via El Nido, upon arrival at Lio Airport, take a tricycle to the public transport terminal (Php 250) where you can take either a bus or a van to Taytay (Php 100).

There is also the option of hiring a van or car for your exclusive use during your visit, kindly arrange these with local van/car for hire companies. Travel time from Puerto Princesa to Taytay is between 4-4.5hours while from El Nido, it takes 1-1.5 hours to reach Taytay.
